If bringing a book from home, remember that edges will be painted—so pick a favorite copy or a display book you want to customize! Bring a hardcover or softcover with a spine thickness of at least 1 to 2 inches (roughly 300+ pages). Thicker books provide a wider canvas so your stenciled design truly pops! Note: Smooth, flat-edged pages work best.
